INTRODUCTION

 [Note that the clearsound version only has 6 of the 7 lectures. Tape LCC-6 „The Clearing Technique of 1947“ given on 20 Oct 1958, lecture number 2037 on the Flag Master List, was omitted and LCC-7 was renumbered to LCC-6 to cover the gap.] [Note that we were able to check 2 of the 6 lectures against the old reels. The remainder are based on the clearsound versions only.] [Note that the Clearing Congress videos were given in July of 1958 in Washington. This series given in London the following October could be considered to be a sequal. In between these two, in August, LRH gave the 20th American ACC.]

In May 1950, L. Ron Hubbard released the technology for attaining a state never before achieved by man - Clear.

Though he had developed the first workable method of unraveling the accumulated aberration of lifetimes, Ron never abandoned his pursuit of a more direct route.

Researching in Washington, DC, in late 1958, he discovered the glue that held together the reactive mind: that thing to which all other facsimiles were stuck - what he called „The origin of aberration.“ Along this same path he found what the third dynamic has to do with a being's state of aberration, and why a preclear's lack of confront will hinder his progress up the Bridge.

Ron rapidly briefed the auditors in Washington, DC, and flew to London with this breakthrough news. Excited and eager to hear the latest advances from L. Ron Hubbard himself, Scientologists from all over England assembled for the London Clearing Congress.

Opening the congress by recounting his adventures on the research track of Dianetics and Scientology, Ron then detailed the theory and application of his newest discoveries - the most direct and effective way of becoming free and powerful as a being.

He gave the congress an up-to-date look at the history of Dianetics and Scientology, the latest news of clearing technology, and devoted his last lecture to a prediction of what the future held for Earth's civilization due to Scientology's advances.

These lectures were originally recorded on long-since obsolete equipment, and extensive work was required to restore them. With the most meticulous care at every stage of production, these priceless lectures have now been reproduced on cassette.
